We are pleased to announce that the confirmed date for collection of your Northbrook order is Friday 25th November.  You may collect from the dining hall from 3pm.  Now that we have our slot, late orders can be accepted up to Friday 18th November.  If you need a replacement brochure, or if you have any questions, please contact the Secretary on secretary-leyhill@ukschool.com.

On December 10th Northbrook will draw one family name from all the order forms received from brochures and will present the lucky family with a voucher for £1500 to be spent with Short Breaks Ltd during the following 12 months plus £500 cash for spending money. Northbrook will then double the amount of money that their particular school / organisation has raised, so which ever family wins the Grand Prize, their school / organisation wins too.

All YOU need to do is to make sure that your order form is returned to the PTA box in the foyer by the end of the day on Friday 4th November.  Your order will be entered on the Northbrook system and the winner will be drawn from the database on the 10th December.

Short Breaks Ltd , who are an ABTA agent and specialists in family trips to Disneyland Paris will help the lucky winner choose transport, accommodation and park tickets suitable for their family to the value of £1500. Northbrook will supply £500 cash to the winning family which can be used for meals and spending money.

The winner will be responsible for their own travel insurance and for transport to and from the point of departure.

If the winner does not want to go to Disneyland Paris then Short Breaks can arrange alternative trips to Bruges or Paris again with transport and accommodation to the value of £1500 with £500 spending money from Northbrook. Shopping trip to Paris? Historical trip to the beautiful city of Bruges? or fun family trip to Disneyland ? the choice is yours  !

Who We Are

Vicky Thornton established Northbrook in 1996. Both the idea and the name came from her time in the States, where Gift Wrap Fundraisers were popular. She decided to bring the idea to the UK and introduced it to a local school in Surrey. Since then Northbrook has grown rapidly and now works with hundreds of schools across the whole of the country.

Vicky and her colleague Diana carefully select all the designs and products. This year all of the papers have been manufactured in Western Europe, with the majority coming from the UK .The accessories also come from Western Europe and China and Taiwan. Their aim is to bring you a collection of high quality designs so that there is something for everyone.

Vicky believes in a proactive approach to the business and both she and Diana have run Northbrook gift wrap sales in their own children’s schools  – so they have real hands on experience!

Our Buying Policy

Northbrook buy gift wrap paper mostly from manufacturers who use wood pulp that comes from European Sustainable Forests. Sustainable Forests are forests that are farmed i.e. where trees are constantly being replanted to replace those that have been used. The forests that our manufacturers buy from have been accredited by either the Forest Stewardship Council ( FCA ) or the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification ( PEFC ). These certified forests are managed to ensure long term timber supplies while protecting the environment. You can learn more about these forests by visiting:
